Damped Motion

With damped motion start with the equation

Now assign a meaning to the variables.

d-displacement from rest
a-pull from rest
b-dampening factor
m-mass
per-period
t-time

now you can use the equation to solve questions about it
given the equation

If asked the mass you could divide 64 by 4 and take the square root making the mass 4
If asked what the dampening factor was you could find it in the equation and say its .6
If asked the initial displacement you could find it to be 13
